		<description>If I&#039;m honest I&#039;ve probably listened to the Friendly Fires album more than Speech&#039;s (although I know it&#039;s been out longer), as I have the La Roux and Bat For Lashes LPs, but I didn&#039;t mind Speech winning.

She has a sweet, delicate voice, but also a strong, street-cutting power to it too. It&#039;s not re-inventing Hip Hop, but it is raw and under produced. It works just as well in an acoustic version, (see the above video), as it does a polished studio-produced version and that say a lot. I&#039;m not sure Kanye, Emminem and Jay Z could say the same. It&#039;s also rare that the UK does Hip Hop well, without being Grimey...

All opinions welcomed however, so thanks for your comment Kevin.
