Way more excited about these two than La Roux/Little Boots/Florence etc. There seems a more polished punch with these two. Almost a little more unashamed pop. It's like they're not trying as hard to be cool and edgy so that somehow works better. They've moved on from the sickly 80s synth that dominates so much these days... Saying all that, La Roux/Little Boots/Florence aint bad either. Don't want to start an anti-thread on here or anything... Thechemistryisdead – I totally agree. I really love her lyrics. I'm pretty sure Marina said the album is being released in February which should be a good time as there should be some Sound of 2010 hype surrounding her in January. Who will make the biggest impact ? Hmmm again undecided. If Marina puts out Shampain or Horrorpop and Ellie puts out a new version of Starry Eyed both have a good chance of making some impact, but how big at this moment I've no idea.
