Every now and then The Recommender gets the chance to give away some tickets. This time around we are handing out to you lucky readers the chance to go to one of the hottest shows of the year, with not only one amazing band performing, but four!

By entering this competition you can win a pair of free tickets to the above show. Winners must be over 14 years old. Tickets are only valid for the Brighton show and will need to be collected in person from an agreed point in central Brighton, before or on the day of the show, (we will give specific details of collection to the eventual winner).

It’s possible that there are several answers/reasons, but the winning answer must match ours. If more than one person has the correct answer, then we will draw the winning entry out of a hat.
Winners will be contacted on Twitter with instructions on how to collect the tickets. The competition closes on midday on Wednesday 16th February, so get snapping and Tweeting your best efforts!

The Vaccines: they’re the only listed band whose name isn’t an example of alliteration (any other ex-high school English lit geeks?).
Yeah I think The Vaccines are the odd ones out too, because their band name doesn’t use illiteration: ‘MM’, ‘CC’, ‘EE’…’TV’!

Thanks again for the tickets Mike, the show was awesome. Everything Everything and Crystal Castles definitely stole the show. Goes without saying that Jonathan Higgs’ falsetto killed it and Alice Glass on crutches was both terrifying and beautiful. Great stuff.
