The Good Natured are on the march in 2011. Having previously given them many column inches here on The Recommender, culminating with a headline show at one of our parties last year, we’re pleased to hear that they recently signed to the Parlophone imprint Regal and are all set for some steady releases.
Next up is the track Wolves, (available below), which forms part of a new EP, due for release in June. It rewardingly steps up the pop pace, whilst their trademark skills at writing songs that are both alternative yet radio-friendly are still very much in evidence.
They enjoyed a set of successful SXSW shows and plan more gigs around Europe and the UK through April and May, including a performance at this year’s Camden Crawl. With a continued presence on the circuit, a decent label backing them and a continued high standard of dark pop hits under their belts, 2011 could be theirs for the taking. (MB)
