And they’re off! With our press pass collected, we headed off to the official launch party last night and enjoyed a night filled with booze, bands and chats with bloggers. Perfect, as the plan is to simply repeat exactly that for the next three days!
On this blog we would love to try and post each day’s review as we go along, but we will most likely be too busy seeing shows and going to parties, so apologies for a lack of running commentary. We will definitely be posting up our gig reviews and photography afterwards in a giant roundup of our experiences. For a more live experience of what we are up to please follow us on Twitter.
Our spreadsheet schedule of shows is now available to view online as a Google Doc here. You can see the outstanding lineup of shows we are about to witness and will hopefully understand how frothy at the mouth we are right now at the prospect of this weekend.
As we’ve previously mentioned, we will no doubt peak at our party on the Friday, where we have Alpines, Hey Sholay, Real Fur and Beat Connection ready to blow. Music bloggers get the VIB (very important blogger) treatment, with a queue jump and the first drink on us. All they need to do is head to The Florist pub to collect their vouchers on the Friday afternoon.
Right, so we’re now off into town. First up is PVT at The Prince Albert. We cannot imagine a brighter start than that and we believe a batch of bloggers are joining up, so we begin at perfection and head skywards from there! See you on the other side. (MB)
