Tony Marks hosts his New Music Show on Juice Radio, the largest independent station in our home city of Brighton, where he delivers contemporary releases on four shows each week. From January of this year he’s been kind enough to invite us on to his show each month to natter about any new discoveries we’ve made. Every show’s been an absolute blast, allowing us to deliver The Recommender in a completely different way to a new audience.

As always, among our meandering rambles, we tried to deliver a broad, fearless range of new music, from Escort, to Coastal Cities, to Foxes and Jagwar Ma. What a great year for new music it’s been and any format that allows us to cram it into your ears is a good thing. Thanks goes to Tony and we will be back on the radio again in January to hand out 2012′s treats. (MB)
